Violet Lemay is an illustrator and author of books for all ages whose clients include HarperCollins, Random House, Simon & Schuster, Highlights, Penguin, Scholastic, Holt, duopress, and Michael Sampson Books. She has written/illustrated 8 books, and has illustrated well over 40 books written by other authors.

In 2024, Violet's picture book Alithia Ramirez Was an Artist won nine awards including Reading the West's Best Picture Book and the Hoffer Grand Prize.
